Your Accommodation
The Ocean View Hotel stands proud looking out over the ocean as one of Shanklin’s main tourist hotels. Panoramic views across Sandown Bay from the bar, restaurant and grounds of the hotel.
This hotel boasts an indoor heated swimming pool, family fun games room and coffee shop. With live entertainment on each night in the show bar there’s enjoyment for all the family throughout the weekend. NO pets allowed at the hotel.
During the month of March, we will contact your team organiser to ask if you would like to add an evening meal and have dinner as part of your package, the cost to add dinner is £22 per person per evening, if you choose this option, once the rugby festival has finished for the day you can head back to the hotel knowing your evening meal is waiting for you.
Shanklin town centre, Shanklin old village and Shanklin seafront are all within easy walking distance of the hotel with great bars, restaurants, attractions, fast food takeaways, diners, supermarkets, chemist and of course the fabulous sandy beach is just in front of your hotel.
Arrival check-in from 3pm, departure check-out by 11am.

The Ocean View hotel offers freshly cooked food prepared by chefs using locally produced and sourced ingredients.
Breakfast options include either continental or full English breakfasts. The hotel offers lunch snacks from the coffee shop at lunchtime, including a range of sandwiches and panini’s or why not treat yourself to are great selection of hand made cakes & tray bakes from a local island supplier.
Breakfast will be served from 7.00am to 10.00am, dinner will be served from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
Things to do in Shanklin
There's plenty of family fun things to do in Shanklin....
Shanklin town centre and the Shanklin old village are within easy walking distance of the hotel with great bars, restaurants, diners and of course the fabulous sandy beaches.
An awesome way to spend time away from the festival on the golden beaches gliding through the water on a kayak or paddleboard, or riding the waves on a bodyboard. Finish the day off with a competitive round of adventure golf or indoor ten pin bowling against your team mates!
You will never go hungry with Shanklin seafront and town offering a selection of family pubs, takeaways, fish and chip diners and ice cream parlours, there will be plenty of options to choose from.
