What a tour this is for your Mini & Junior teams, the excitement of heading overseas on the ferry and spending the weekend on the beautiful island of the Isle of Wight and before you ask “You don’t need a passport”.

Open to all age groups from U7 through to U16 staying in holiday villages, adventure centres and hotels across the island no matter which of our accommodation options you end up staying at the stunning pitches of Medina Sports Village are no more than twenty minutes away from everywhere.

The ultimate end of season rugby tour for your club awaits. Together with our host club partners who are the Island’s wonderful Vectis RFC we are excited to welcome teams from across the United Kingdom and beyond to what is sure to be one of the UK’s top mini & junior rugby festivals.

The islands Mini & Junior Rugby Club Vectis RFC are our host club for the Isle of Wight Festival of Rugby and we are extremely proud to have such a highly regarded club as our festival partners.

A highly regarded club with a long and successful history of creating talented rugby players over the years and the heartbeat of youth rugby. All clubs who join us at the rugby festival will experience a very special team tour with our welcoming club hosts and superb sporting facilities at the Medina Sports Complex.

Throughout the rugby tournament there will be live entertainment, food stalls and drinks provided by our friendly hosts. An amazing festival atmosphere to be enjoyed by all!

Crossing to the fabulous Isle of Wight

ALL ABOARD! What an exciting start to your festival weekend, crossing the seas to the stunning Isle of Wight.

Just a short ten minute crossing by Hovercraft from Southsea for foot passengers or a 40 to 55 minute ferry crossing for foot passengers, car or coach travellers, dependant on which ferry crossing you choose from.

Crossings to the Isle of Wight depart from Southampton, Portsmouth or Lymington.

The Isle of Wight Festival of Rugby offers teams and their supporters special discounted ferry crossings when travelling to the event.

(PLEASE NOTE: crossings to the Isle of Wight are NOT included within the cost of the festival and accommodation. Please get in touch to get a price).

Frequently asked questions...

Yes of course, Tour International Ltd only offer family themed mini & junior rugby festivals, we welcome all mums, dads, siblings, guardians, grandparents and supporters to all our welcome at our festivals to be part of your teams end of season tour.

We aim to offer each team taking part three matches on the Saturday and two matches on the Sunday as the set target, however this is dependent on the number of teams which enter at the age group you are part of and can vary from festival to festival.

What we always look to achieve is offering each team taking part in the festival the maximum permitted playing time allowed under RFU age grade rules for playing time on each day.

On occasions this is possible but is subject to the space and number of teams in the festival, if you can only play on one of the days, please let us know at the time you are making the booking for your team. Please note, at all festivals we operate priority is given to teams who can take part on two days and we may not be able to confirm your one-day entry until one month prior to the festival.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drink to the rugby festival, although we ask you to respect the host rugby club and remember the host club will have gone to a lot of trouble to make available food and beverages for you to purchase at a reasonable price and to enjoy throughout the weekend at the rugby festival.

At holiday parks and hotels, you are free to bring your own food and drink in to your rooms and consume them in your rooms or outside tents, motorhomes and caravans but you should not take your own food and drink into the public areas of campsites, holiday parks or hotels.

Alternatively, if you want to register your club team (s), go to our website and complete the registration form and one of our support team will be in touch with you very soon after to coordinate with you the festival entry.

Yes, it is, when you participate in the festival you also book accommodation to stay at throughout the weekend and in doing so this also enables you to enter your team (s) to take part in the festival and for supporters to access the rugby festival venue and cheer you on.

Teams of all standards are welcome at Tour International festivals; you need not worry what standard of level of play you are at as we will structure the rugby festival so that by the end of the festival, we do all we can to match teams of similar ability so they are playing each other.

There will be many different levels of tournament categories which teams will qualify for after the first day of play based on the results from your day one matches, leaving you confident that you know come day two of the rugby festival you will be playing against teams of similar ability in a competition for silverware regardless of you day one results.
