The great Isle of Wight Festival of Rugby, one not to be missed!

What a tour this is for your Mini & Junior teams, the excitement of heading overseas on the ferry and spending the weekend on the beautiful island of the Isle of Wight and before you ask “You don’t need a passport”.

Open to all age groups from U7 to U15 boys and U12, U14 & U16 girls, staying in holiday villages, adventure centres and hotels across the island no matter which of our accommodation options you end up staying at the stunning pitches of Medina Sports Village are no more than twenty minutes away from everywhere.

The ultimate end of season rugby festival for your club awaits. Together with our host club partners who are the Island’s wonderful Vectis RFC we are excited to welcome teams from across the United Kingdom and beyond to what is sure to be one of the UK’s top mini & junior rugby festivals.

An exciting two day mini & junior rugby festival

Our Isle of Wight rugby festival takes place at the Medina Sports Complex playing fields with great onsite facilities.

The tournament is open to all age groups… U7, U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15 and U12, U14, U16 girls.

We have a full range of luxury tents to choose from – our bell tents cater for up to 6 people per tent and for larger groups our emperor tents are perfect, catering for up to 8 people. With options to suit all budgets we offer unfurnished pre-pitched tents, bring your own home comforts, or you can opt for a fully furnished tent with beds, bedding, carpet, furniture and solar lighting… the choice is yours!

Little Canada outdoor leisure resort

Set in 40 acres of woodland on the banks of Wootton Creek, a great leisure activity resort for all the family or club. Offering family and multiple occupancy log cabin style accommodation, live entertainment each night of your stay at the licensed family bar. A fabulous location with private seafront access.

The accommodation price includes breakfast and evening meals with a great selection to choose from, such as; full cooked English breakfast, battered fish fillet & chips, pizza and much more.

A range of onsite activities are available for both adults and children - only £15 per activity

Hotel accommodation

If you prefer to stay in style and comfort we are offering a 2 or 3 night hotel stay with breakfast included. 

Many of our hotels also have swimming pools to add that extra bit of enjoyment to a fun-filled weekend away. At each of our fun hotels, we will have live music on each evening to get the party started.

If you are a large group the option could be available for you to take over the hotel, your own private residence for the tour weekend!

Crossing to the fabulous Isle of Wight

ALL ABOARD! What an exciting start to your festival weekend, crossing the seas to the stunning Isle of Wight.

Just a short ten minute crossing by Hovercraft from Southsea for foot passengers or a 40 to 55 minute ferry crossing for foot passengers, car or coach travellers, dependant on which ferry crossing you choose from.

Crossings to the Isle of Wight depart from Southampton.

The Isle of Wight Festival of Rugby offers teams and their supporters special discounted ferry crossings when travelling to the event.

(PLEASE NOTE: crossings to the Isle of Wight are NOT included within the cost of the festival and accommodation. Please get in touch to get a price).
